Short Term Travel Grant Program (TGP-II)
The National Foundation of Science and Advanced Technologies (NFSAT) will provide up to $2,500 on a competitive basis to promising scientists and engineers from the Republic of Armenia to facilitate their participation in selected meetings of scientific and engineering professional societies in the United States. The aim of the program is to establish and strengthen scientific collaborations between Armenian and U.S. scientific communities. As a rule, one participant will be supported for each conference.
The "Short Term Travel Grants" program is carried out under the prime Award #NFSAT-03-2001 provided by the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation for the Independent States of the Former Soviet Union (CRDF) to support NFSAT in accordance with its "Program of Development of Armenian Scientific and Technological Potential", a proposal submitted to CRDF on April 22, 2001.
